Make sure your password doesn't require using the shift key, there's a bug in the login that ignores it. I will release a fix soon, but in the meantime use lowercase letters and numbers for your password and you should be able to login.

DreamZZT Online uses the same account as these forums. Use your forum username and password to login.

Does your password have any unusual punctuation or symbols in it? Try changing your forum password to something that just uses letters and numbers.

What operating system are you using? Windows, Mac, or Linux? Also, do you have AIM or MSN or Yahoo! messenger? My screennames are listed on my profile, feel free to IM me so we can troubleshoot the issue.

    Thanks,
    Sam

    Yes, HP uses Windows.

Just to confirm, you're selecting "DreamZZT Online" and then "Use Existing Account", and then entering your forum username and password?

Aha! Ok. Open up Windows Explorer and browse to c:\documents and settings\(your Windows user name)\local settings\application data and delete the file named "dzztauth.dat". That will delete whatever password it's trying to use, and it will give you the username/password prompt again.

I will open up a ticket to make it delete that file automatically if it is unable to login.

Let me know if you are still unable to login.

I've also added a "Logout" link to the invalid username/password page, so if you don't want to download the update, you can just pick that "Logout" button and it should also clear the saved password.
