We've updated an image of DCSquares over at DC Evolution, it was originally meant for release in November but it now features the latest 1.4 version of the game, hopefully the image will be released by the end of the week.
The image features the 2 themes used for the 1.4 release plus an additional 5 themes from us, it's also got some onscreen info, a guide to play the game, with links and credits displayed via Dream Inducer.
As the title of this topic, we've called the image release 'DCSquares Cubed', the squares aren't cubes by the way, it was just a name plucked from nowhere to represent the 6 additional themes contained along with the original theme. Thanks again for a great game Sam.

I just thought I'd let the members of this forum know - the image is ready for download, but I haven't got a page made for it yet. I'll have the page made within the next day or so (I actually got a bug up my butt to do some home improvement this past weekend, and completely neglected my computer). Then, we'll post official news about it.
However, as I said, since I know Sam's been eager to try it out, I'll go ahead and give you a link for it now. Here's the official link that will be on the page
If that link doesn't work, try this one
Please don't give out that second link. That's the actual link to the file, which will bypass DC Evo's bandwidth protection. As I said the page should be up soon, but I had a long week last week, and then, as I said, I was busy this weekend.
BTW - Hi - I'm curt. For anyone that doesn't know me, I'm the webmaster for DCHelp, and I help out with DC Evo. I'm also active at DCEmulation, DCEmu UK, CV, and I'm about the only active member at Sbiffy!com.

I just dropped by and noticed Curt had posted only a link to the image, anyway hope you enjoy the extra themes, and a big thankyou to hegyre for adding another one for the compilation.
What's next Sam?, a DCBlap update

Sounds cool, I'll check it out this weekend. I downloaded the image earlier, but I gave up trying to manipulate the cdi file on my mac, so I'll burn it from Windows when I get a chance.
As for the future, we have some ideas for DCSquares 2.0 floating around, but nothing concrete yet and no work has started on it. DCBlap and DreamZZT are kind of up in the air at the moment. It's been nearly a year since I've looked at either one, and I'm not sure what condition the source for DCBlap is in.. I know that DreamZZT is extremely unstable. Classes have started again, so my free time will be a bit limited, but I'll see what I can do.

I don't think the font has any non-latin characters, but it's something I'll look into in the future. I've just started a new job, so I haven't had much time to work on DCSquares.
