    Hi,
When I start Frotz and alot of other games I get a flickering screen as If I am trying ntsc on pal or something like that.

The issue is this tv.It says it does both 60hz and 50hz but it appears to lie.when I tried soul calibur at 60hz the same thing.I'm using a normal tv antenna connector.would a scart cable make any difference.

Is there a utility to "downgrade" the signal from frotz to 50hz ?

I may be talking to myself but :) I bought a scart cable and I can now view frotz. However the picutre is pushed slightly to the left making the first one or two characters appear off screen.Normally I wouldn't care but this sucks with adventure games. My tv also has not option for moving the picture left or right.Any suggestions ?

Sorry for the delay, I've been really busy with school lately :)

Unfortuantily I'm not familiar with the PAL settings in KOS, as I live in the USA and we use NTSC. I was under the impression that it autodetected which cable was attached and selected the correct video mode based on that. I will look into this when I get some free time.

In regards to fitting text on the screen, I was going to add another video mode for 75x25 instead of 80x25, giving room for a border on each side. 80x25 uses up the entire width of the screen, and it becomes difficult to read if I try shrinking it down.

Another solution would be to get a VGA box, which would bypass all the region problems, and allow you to center your screen :)

Thanks for the reply.I'd be most happy if you did include a 75x25 version. That would solve all the problems for people using PAL as the missing text problem would be solved.
